Alexa Pearce is a painter and future art conservator hailing from Little Rock, AR, and currently residing in Washington, D.C. After completing her BA in Art History & French at New York University in 2017, she spent a year in Paris, teaching English at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d’Art. She also took first-year painting conservation courses at the École de Condé. A Francophile from a young age, Alexa has consistently drawn influence in her personal oeuvre from Academic painters such as Bouguereau to modernists like Magritte.
